Laura joins Newport ONE after six years with an animal welfare organization. Her roles ranged from animal care and behavior management to donor relations and direct response. Laura cares deeply about making the world a kinder and safer place for animals and humans, and her approach to philanthropy is rooted in her hands-on operational experience.

Outside of office hours, Laura enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, exploring Florida’s beautiful parks and beaches, cracking the case in a new cozy mystery, and spotting local wildlife with her husband.
